Rev. Earl Dean Wilder age 73 of Springfield, went home to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. Earl was born the son of Harley & Josephine (Adams) Wilder on December 6, 1949, in Balkan, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Kathy Wilder; nephew Matthew Wilder. Earl is survived by his brothers William & Harley Wilder both of Springfield; sister Barbara (Dave) O’Reilly of Springfield; numerous nieces, nephews, & many friends. Earl was a loving brother, uncle, & friend. He will be missed by all of those who love him. Earl served his country proudly as a member of The United States Army. Upon ending his military career Earl spent many years working in construction. Earl was a Mason & belonged to Morning Star Lodge NO. 795 F. & A. M. Earl faithfully served his community as a Reverend of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading the Bible, & fishing. Most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Friends may call on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 11AM – 12PM at RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 12PM. Interment to follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
