Rebecca "Dee" Hensley

Rebecca “Dee” Hensley age 77 of London, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born the daughter of Jarvie H. & Della M. (Tackett) Vance on July 30, 1946, in Pikeville, Kentucky.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Okie Gene Hensley, son David Allen Hensley; sister Nelva Vance; infant siblings Earnest T., Josephine, Suella, Rosetta, & Paul.  Dee is survived by her loving son Bryan (Robin) Hensley of South Charleston; siblings Alpha (Buddy) Hensley, Jarvie Vance Jr., & Acy (Faye) Vance all of Huntington Indiana; grandchildren Dustin Hensley, Ashley (Nick) Workman, & Hunter Hensley; great grandchildren Brennan & Ryland; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Dee was a loving mother, grandmother, sister & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Dee enjoyed catering to the needs of the people she loved the most.  She was known to spoil her kids & grandkids, especially around the Holidays.  Her friends & family will especially miss all of her “fancy” desserts that she would prepare during the Christmas season.  Friends & family may call on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 10AM – 11AM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 11AM with Rev.
