Rebecca Ann Brock

Bowers Brock, Rebecca Ann, 68 of Springfield passed away July 1, 2017 in Villa of Springfield following a lengthy illness. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on November 12, 1948, the daughter of William and Janet (Snow) Bowers. Becky was a 1966 graduate of Springfield North High School. She was a legal secretary for many years. Becky was also the executive assistant to the police chief of North Port, Florida. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, sewing, watching football and car races. Becky was a proud Army wife who traveled the world with her husband and family. She is at peace. Becky was preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents Fred and Edna Bowers; maternal grandparents Fred and Clara Snow, father-in-law Dick Brock; two brothers-in-law Mike Brock and Don Morgan. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Richard L. Brock; son Richard William (Gayle) Brock; daughter Rachael Elizabeth (Jon) Skelley; grandchildren Morgan Elayne, Jenna Michelle and Jason Rand Skelley, Avery Jane and Kendall Ann Brock; mother-in-law and father-in-law Gloria and Don Morgan; sisters-in-law Pamela Carrier and Patty (Gary) Schreiber; numerous nieces and nephews;special friends Rick & Diane White, Debbie & George Fain and Kathie and Terry Zeismer. Becky’s family would like to thank the staff of Villa of Springfield for their exceptional care. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 PM RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Becky will be Thursday at 11:00AM in the Memorial Home with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
