Raymond J. Monroe

Raymond Monroe, 69, of Springfield, Ohio, formally of Sciotodale, passed on to his heavenly home on Friday, May 5, 2023. His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife: Phyllis Monroe, two children; Bill Monroe (Rachel), and Shelia Monroe (Chris), five grandchildren; Paige Miller (Adam), Taylor Riley (Brenten), Kirsten Brooks (Kevin), Austin Monroe (Megan), and Austin Hall, eight great-grandchildren; Maci, Maddix, Chloe, Makinna, Easten, Merritt, Quinton, and Kaiden, sisters; Linda Monroe Ginn and Donna Monroe Slusher (Ron), brother; Wilbur Monroe, and preceded in death by mother, Frances Lewis Monroe, father, Joie Kenneth Monroe, brother Steve Monroe, brother-in-law Jerry Ginn, and daughter Alana Hall. Raymond & his wife hosted 11 exchange students from all over the globe over a period of 9 years. Family & friends may call on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 11AM – 1PM at RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will take place at 1PM with Pastor Justin Raines officiating. Interment to follow in Enon Cemetery.
