Raymond E. Miller, Sr. 89 of Springfield died July 20, 2016. He was born in Xenia, Ohio on October 27, 1926, the son of Harry and Fatina Miller. Raymond served his country in the US Navy during WW II. He retired from Bauer Brothers as a machinist with several years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed working puzzles, playing cards, fishing and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mercie Miller; son Larry E. Ward; brothers Harry, John, Robert, James, and Gail; sistersBetty Jane, Mary Lou Miller and Wanda Cornell. Survivors include children Charles E. (Bacon) Ward, Fatina Speakman, Raymond (Pam) Miller, Jr., John W. (Susie) Miller and Edna Sue Sergent; sisters Mable Ann Haynes and Anita Moore,seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Raymond will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial to follow in Clifton Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
