News Death Notice

HAYDEN, Raymond W. 91 of Springfield died October 15, 2015 in the SRMC. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 10, 1924, the son of Raymond and Bessie Hayden. Ray retired from SPECO with 48 years of service as an inspector. He was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Ray was a hardworking man and loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Peggy Hayden; brother and sister in law George and Doris Hayden. Survivors include his children Sandra (Bob) Huffman, Joseph (Brenda) Hayden, Thomas (Sherry) Hayden, Larry (Vikki) Hayden, Douglas (Becky) Hayden, Richard Hayden and Patty Cydrus; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Ray will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Grace Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are requested to the Grace Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
