Randy Lee Buffington

Randy Lee Buffington, 54, of Springfield passed away at 3:06 PM. Friday, March 31, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born November 28, 1962 in Springfield the son of Robert Lee and Janice (Johnson) Buffington. Randy was a 1980 graduate of South High School, served in the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell, KY, and earned his Associate Degree in Social Work from Clark State. He had worked at various call centers in Kettering and was a member of the IDMR. In his younger years, Randy was an aspiring magician and performed at children’s parties and in downtown Springfield. He is survived by his mother, Janice; his children Clinton Lamar Buffington, Sabrina Nicole Buffington and Brandon LeBron Dain Buffington; his companion Susan Sutherland; and grandchildren Camryn, Payton and Austin, all of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert in 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 -11 AM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
