Rachel Lucille Martin

Rachel Lucille Martin, 91, of Tipp City passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was born July 25, 1925 in New Carlisle, the daughter of John and Lucille M. (Welty) Kouse. Rachel was a member of the First Church of God, Troy, she loved and lived her life for the Lord. She enjoyed her family greatly and loved her cabin in the Smokey Mountains. Rachel is preceded in death by her husband Glen E. Martin; son-in-law Larry J. Willoughby; and sister-in-law Doris Kouse. She is survived by her daughters Linda K. Willoughby, Kimberly A. (William) Dilks and Beverly J. (David) Stokes; a brother Leonard Kouse; grandchildren Yvonne Rupert, Matthew J. Willoughby, Joel M. Thompson, Jason A. Thompson, Ashley M. Barton, William D. Dilks III and Rachel J. Fulton; sisters-in-law Joyce East and Elaine Martin; numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Rachel will be Wednesday, October 5 at 12:30 PM in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been requested to the First Church of God, 924 Troy Urbana Road, Troy, OH, 45373.
