Phyllis A. Kotcamp

Phyllis Ann Kotcamp age 85 of New Carlisle passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Danbury Senior Living of Tipp City while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born the daughter of Joe Elmer & Lucy (Johnston) Isaac on April 5, 1939 in Grayson, Kentucky.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Mack A. Kotcamp; siblings Elmer Ray Isaac, Louise Bond, Earl Isaac, Betty Boggs, & Imogene Pritchard; grandchildren Melissa Bordeaux & Steven Tackett.  Phyllis is survived by her sons Joe (Bonnie) Tackett, Roderick Tackett, Terrance Tackett, & Ken (Debbie) Tackett; daughter Marcella (George Kephert) Roslan; brother Don (Deanna) Isaac; sister-in-law Olive Isaac; special companion Glen Flora; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Phyllis’s faith was an important part of her life, recently she was not able to attend services, but she faithfully watched church services on television.  She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, dancing, reading medical journals, & traveling to Florida for the winter.  Family was the most important to her, she looked forward to hosting Thanksgiving & everyone will remember her for her famous pistachio pudding, along with her amazing country breakfast.  Her family will miss her famous biscuits & gravy, & delicious homemade lasagna.  Friends & family may call on Friday, August 16, 2024 at TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME 507 W. Jefferson St. New Carlisle, Ohio from 11AM – 12PM where a funeral to celebrate her life will begin at 12PM with Pastor Paul McCoy officiating.  Interment to follow in New Carlisle Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.trostelchapman.com
