Penny Brown

Penny (Russell) Brown 64, of Springfield, Ohio woke up in Heaven November 25, 2021. She was born June 12, 1957, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Junior & Lena Russell. Penny retired from Springfield City Schools after 32 years as a School Bus Driver. She was a beloved member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities. Everyone that knew Penny knew her honesty & unconditional love and support for all. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Clyde "Pete" Brown; sons Caleb & Kirby Brown (Megan Jackson); granddaughter Hayleigh Brown whom she adored; special nephews Brandon & Matthew (Alexandria) Russell; sister-in-law Juanita Russell, brothers-in-law Paul Brown & Jay Gulbranson; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and special lifelong friends. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Vincent, Ronnie & Darrell Russell. Visitation will be held at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 1301 Beacon St., Springfield, OH, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 4-6pm with the service to honor her life to follow at 6pm.
