Patricia Prudhomme

Prudhomme, Patricia (Connell)

92, of Medway, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton after a brief illness. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Edward and Avaidney (Berry) Connell. A graduate of Corpus Christi Grade School Class of 1945 and Julienne Catholic High School Class of 1949. She retired from the Dayton Power & Light Company after 25 years, relocating with her late husband, Shelton, for several years to South Texas. They returned to Medway, Ohio in 2003.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Shelton E. Prudhomme; survived by sons Shelton Ty Prudhomme and Stephen Todd (Dolores) Prudhomme; as well as countless family, friends, and acquaintances.

A long-time member of the DP&L Retiree Group, she was also an active member of Medway Baptist Church and Mary Help of Christians Catholic Parish in Fairborn, Ohio. Patty was a lively soul with an engaging personality and was definitely someone who knew no strangers. Her love of God, family, and people was legendary to all she met. She will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 on May 20, 2024, at Mary Help of Christians Church, 954 N. Maple Ave, Fairborn, Ohio 45324. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Tipp City, Ohio.
