Oscar W. Allen

Oscar Winford Allen, 67, born April 13, 1956, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Son of the late Hoy and Georgia Irene Allen. Oscar resided in Humble, Tx with his fiancé Francine Kenney. Oscar is survived by his daughters and son, Melissa (Richard) Kinney, Elijah (Sky) Allen, and Emma Allen. Brothers and Sister – Arthur (Deb) Allen, Kathy (Richard) Sharp, Robert (Lisa) Allen and Ronald (Jen) Allen. Grandsons – Jackson, Franklin, adopted grandson Julian Arallano and many nieces and nephews. He joined the U.S. Army in November 1974 and served in the 101st Airborne out of Fort Campbell. He exited the Army December 1977 at the rank of Specialist. A professional drummer for many years, Oscar had a love for family, music, traveling, Houston Astros, drag racing, and his truck. Oscar always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye for everyone he met. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Visitation hours will be from 5-7 pm with a service starting at 7 pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, 507 Jefferson St, New Carlisle, Oh 45344. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in honor of Bennett Rapp sent to the Children’s Heart Foundation via the American Heart Association.
