BANDY, Norman "Smoke" 61 of Springfield went home to be with his Lord and Savior December 23, 2015 in his residence following a brief illness. He was a born again Christian. He was born in Ashland, KY on December 12, 1954, the son of Norman C. and Evelyn Bandy. Smoke had been a truck driver with Buckeye Diamond Logistics for 16 years. He was a member of the Union Club and DAV. In his spare time he enjoyed playing cards. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; brother Marvin; sister Glenda Lee; and nephew Phillip Hall. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Diana Bandy; daughter Becca (Matt) Lafferty; sons Dan (Connie) Baker and Dustin Bandy; brother George Bandy; sister Betty Bandy; grandchildren Emily and Izabella; many nieces and nephews including Brian (Laura) and Cassie (Tim); brothers-in-law Steve (Mary) White and Joe White; sister-in-law Rennolyn White; many close friends with a special thanks to Sue Hand. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A service to celebrate Smoke's life will be Monday at 11:00AM in the Lawrenceville Church of God with Rev.
