Myrle Scott

Myrle Scott, 80, of Springfield passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016. She was born November 12, 1935 in Pike County, KY the daughter of Robert R. and Elzoria (Sloan) Carter. Myrle retired from Woodrow Corporation with forty plus years of service. She is survived by two daughters Carol Hollon of Lexington, KY, and Brenda (Wayne) Williams of St. Paris, OH; three siblings Jimmy (Jo) Carter, Hazel Smith and Donald Carter; four grandsons Jesse, Jerome and Jonas Hollon, and Andrew Scott; one great grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Bruce Scott and a brother Carlos Carter. The service to honor Myrle’s life will be Thursday at 11:00 AM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Myrle’s name to Community/Mercy Hospice.
