MICHAEL STACEY

65, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at the VA Hospice. Michael was born January 21, 1951 in Springfield the son of late Homer E. & Anne Elizabeth Stacey. He served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge from active duty he joined his father as a Machinist in a family owned and operated business which he took over in 1991 after his father’s retirement. He recently retired after 42 years. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cheryl (Beher) Stacey; two sons, Steven M. (Renee) Stacey, Nicholas E. (Jenny) Stacey; a sister, Joyce (Roger) Burger; two brothers-in-law, James (Dede) Beher, Richard (Debby) Beher; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Emma, Coleton, Xander, Roy & Grace; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a favorite aunt & Uncle, Margaret & Jimmy; a sister, Sandra and a granddaughter, Brooklyn. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday, June 13, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park with Military Honors.Memorial contributions may be made to the VA Hospice Fund
