Michael L. Sprinkle

Michael Lynn Sprinkle, 69, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was born September 17, 1953, in Urbana, OH, the son of the late Clyde D. Sprinkle and Mary Harvel. Mike worked as a diesel mechanic for Holland Excavating and later for V&K Trucking. He was also a veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard. Mike loved drag racing and raced at several area tracks. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Philip Sprinkle; granddaughter Michaela Sprinkle; sister Kathy Stiver and Diane Sparks; brothers Roger Sprinkle, Terry Harvel and Tommy Harvel; sister-in-law Linda Sprinkle; and brother-in-law Bob Riker. Mike is survived by his children Nicole Sarven and Matthew Sprinkle; brothers Clyde E. Sprinkle, Ron Sprinkle, Robert Sprinkle, Tommy Sprinkle, Jimmy (Marla) Sprinkle, Tim Harvel and Robert Harvel; sisters Shirley Jones, Patricia Riker, Joyce (Mike) Penhorwood and Tammy (Donnie) Deaton; granddaughter Aubrey Sprinkle; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 1-5pm at the Woodstock Municipal Building, 101 N. Main Street, Woodstock, OH 43084.
