News Death Notice

CHAPMAN, Melissa A. 46, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born October 28, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence & Christine (Anderson) Stilley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Stilley. She is survived by her Dad, Larry Stilley; her husband, Dick Chapman; her daughter, Sydney Chapman; her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Lee Giles, and many other relatives and friends. Missy was employed at DESC until they closed. She then worked for years as a veterinary assistant at the Huber Heights Animal Hospital until she chose to go back into civil service at Wright Patterson AFB. She worked for over 22 years for the federal government, most of that time at the Air Force Institute of Technology, with her latest position as an Enrollment Administrator. Missy was a highly respected employee and co-worker. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday September 5, 2015 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with a visitation one hour prior in the funeral home.
