Mary E Harris

Mary E. Harris, 90, of Springfield passed away peacefully September 18, 2016. She was born on November 16, 1926 to Charles and Edna Herman. Mary loved Jesus and enjoyed expressing that through writing and displaying her pieces in frames that she crafted. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Hershel Harris; brothers Charles "Peckie" and Dick Herman; sisters Rose Howard, Patty Blumer, Irma Rice. Survivors include brother, Milford (Bonnie) Herman; sisters, Judy Holbrook, Alma Wokosky, Shirley (Dick) Kreitzer, and Leona Arnold. Visitation will be 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Friday, September 23, followed by a service to honor Mary’s life at 11:00 AM at Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel with Chaplain Bruce Vincent officiating. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
