Mary Ann Cooper

Mary Ann Cooper age 76 of New Carlisle passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Hospice of Dayton while surrounded by her loving family. She was born the daughter of John & Ornan (Bowman) Durham on March 15, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; brother Paul Durham. She is survived by her loving husband Ben Cooper of 46 years; son Joshua (Megan) Coomer of New Carlisle; grandchildren Dustin, Paul Alan, Xander, Amira, Zoe, & Heidi; great grandchildren Levi, Noah, & Roman. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Meemo), & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. For many years she worked as a pediatric nurse. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, baking, but most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Friends & family may call on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 11AM -12PM at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home 507 W. Jefferson St. New Carlisle, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 12PM with Dr. Vincent Schmidt officiating. Interment to follow at the Valley View Memorial Gardens 170 N Valley Rd. Xenia, Ohio.
