Mary L. Blackford

Mary Louise Blackford, 81, of Tipp City, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2021. She was born August 16, 1940, in Greenville, OH, the daughter of the late John and Geraldine Strait. She was a member of West Charleston Church of the Brethren and the Tipp City Seniors. She is survived by her husband of 61years Jerry L. Blackford; daughter Judy (Robert) Gay; daughter-in-law Karmyn Buehrer; grandchildren Amy (Kevin) Kessler, Amanda (Steve) Laman, Kayla (Kody) Thiebeau, Lee (Ashley) Blackford, Justin (Katelyn) Gay, Matthew (Madisyn) Gay and Thomas Gay; brother Phil (Becky) Strait; sisters Janet Blackford and Joann (Kenny) Didier; brothers-in-law Steve Conner and Jim Blackford; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; son Michael Blackford; sisters Virginia Blackford and Nancy Conner; brother-in-law Joe Blackford; and sister-in-law Faith Blackford. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 11am-1pm at West Charleston Church of the Brethren, 4817 South State Route 202, Tipp City, Oh 45371 with the funeral to honor Mary beginning at 1:00 PM at the church.
