Marvin E. Buskirk

Buskirk, Marvin E., 70 of Springfield died April 17, 2017 in his residence. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 7, 1946, the son of Emmitt and Phyllis Buskirk. He was a member of the Machinist and Union Clubs, AMVETS and Eagles. He proudly served his country in the US Navy, retiring following 21 years of service. Marvin later worked for Electric Eel. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ricky, Danny and Charles. Survivors include his companion for 24 years Betty Hungerford; children Joseph (Rosetta), Charles, Chris (Stephanie), and Denise Buskirk; brother Marty (Martha) Buskirk; sister Margo (Anthony) Brown; grandchildren Zach, Lyndsey, Cierra, Dezmond, Kyla and Abbey; many nieces and nephews. Private services have been selected by the family. RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
