Mark A. Hanke, 57, of Springfield passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in his home. He was born December 19, 1959 in Springfield the son of George and Joyce (Ferryman) Hanke, Sr. Mark was proud to have worked at TAC Industries over twenty years. He attended First Christian Church and loved all animals, especially dachshunds. He is survived by his father; two brothers George Hanke, Jr. and Mike Hanke; one sister Sharon Griffin; a special nephew Donnie (Krissy) Hanke. He was loved and will be greatly missed by family Alden and Pamela Beatty, Rachele and Luke Fortune, Jessica Zimmerman, Meagan and Darrin Campbell, including children Carter, Bent-lee, Laney, Jayla, Shania, Brandon and Nathan; also by his faithful friends from his church Chuck and Kelly Beller; and Andrew Schlater, Path Co-ordinator Community Services. He is preceded in death by his mother and grandmother Lena Ferryman. Special thanks to Dr. John Sutter and his staff for being so kind and helpful during this time. Dr. Sutter went above and beyond his duties as a Medical Doctor by showing Mark such passion, kindness and spiritual guidance at the time of his illness. We appreciate the guidance of Miami Valley Hospice nurse Karen. The service to honor Mark’s life will be Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM. in the Chapel at Ferncliff Cemetery with Brian Borton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
