Mark Edward Garrett

Mark Edward Garrett age 67 of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born the son of Ralph & Phyllis (Smith) Garrett on August 4, 1955, in Springfield, Ohio.  Mark is preceded in death by his beloved wife Janet; parents.  He is survived by his son Robert Buskirk of Springfield; daughter Rachel Cornelison of Springfield; brother Dale (Lynn) Garrett; sister Connie Eddington; grandchildren Tiffany Bennett, Brittney Hawke, & Brandon (Taylor) Hawke; great grandchildren Brayden, Ema, Kysen, Mila, Alyson, Rory, Aliza, & Charlie; several nieces, nephews, & many friends.  Mark was a loving dad, grandpa, brother, & friend.  He will be missed by all of those who love him.  Mark was a member of The United States Marine Corps, where he served his country with pride.  He was a fan of country music, classic rock, & was a fan of the Beatles.  Mark was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, fishing, & a cold beer.  Most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
