Mark Steven Bethel

Bethel, Mark Steven, 57 of Springfield died August 6, 2023 in his residence.  He was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 14, 1966, the son of James E. and Clara Belle Bethel.  Mark worked for the Horner Industrial Group.  He was a member of the Union and Machinists Clubs and the Eagles.  Mark was known as having a huge heart and spending time with family and friends gave him a lot of enjoyment.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary E. Bethel; and his in laws Art and Annabell Hartley.  Survivors include his sisters Linda (Rick) Jones and Sharon (Mike) Maine; brother Dale (Rosalee Dixon Bethel; his companion Cindy Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.  Services to honor Mark will be held on Friday at 10:00AM in the Memorial Home with Rev Orbie Estep officiating.  Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.  Memorial contributions are requested to either the Animal Welfare League or the Clark County Dog Warden.  Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
