Alice resided for most of her life in Bethel Township, Miami County Ohio. She had lived with her daughter, Kathyleen, in Michigan for five years, prior to moving back to Tipp City, Ohio, in 2016. Alice and Percy were instrumental in starting the Bethel Township Fire Department and Auxiliary. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to travel, play Euchre, and at the age of 75 took up playing golf, but later gave it up for health reasons. Alice began working for the New Carlisle-Bethel School (Tecumseh) Board of Education in Clark County, Ohio in 1956. She retired after 25 years of service as the Secretary Treasurer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Percy, her parents, her sister, daughter Christine Argea, and granddaughter Gina Escovedo. Alice is survived by her son Ronald (Joanne) Hughes of Tipp City, Ohio, daughter Kathyleen (James) Madden of Burlington, Michigan. Surviving grandchildren are: Terry (Larry) Kinder of Ellenton, FL, Craig (Carol) Booher of Corinth, MS, Kirk (Janet) Hughes of Ft.
