Marcus Emery Jennings

Marcus Emery Jennings 48, of New Carlisle, passed away October 29, 2023, after a long-time battle with Muscular Dystrophy. He was born December 16, 1974, at Edwards AFB, CA to Ronald & Diane Jennings. Marcus was a 1994 graduate of Tecumseh High School. After high school Marcus worked at Howard’s IGA and Argrov Box Company, he was a member of The First United Methodist Church, New Carlisle where he especially enjoyed working with the puppet ministry. He enjoyed drawing, music & Snoopy. Marcus was an avid fan of the University of Michigan and the Green Bay Packers. He loved to spend time with family going thrifting and to Skyline Chili.

Marcus is survived by his mother, Diane (Mattson) Jennings (Wally Wadsworth); aunt, Darcia (Michael Miljour) Mattson; uncle, Robert Veale; cousin, Heather & Greg Toutant, cousins Faith & Preston; His “Ohio” family, and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Jennings; two brothers, Christian & Jonathon; his maternal grandparents, Dewey & Dolores Mattson; paternal grandparents, Alger & Helvi Jennings; aunt, Susan Veale and his special cousin Robbie Veale.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, New Carlisle on Marcus’ birthday December 16, 2023. Burial will take place next summer in Michigan at Gwinn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at trostelchapman.com
