Marcia Ann Massie

Marcia Ann (Fields) Massie, age 61, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away on November 27, 2023 unexpectedly, leaving a legacy of love and memories.  She was born to the late Pleasant and Geredine Fields on October 26, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio.

Of all the things Marcia loved the most, her family topped the list.  She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Donald Massie who she married in 1980. Marcia was an amazing mother. She is survived by her children, Justin Massie, Nessa Bixler and her husband Michael Bixler. Marcia’s most favorite title was that of Grandma.  She will be loved and missed always by her grandchildren Eva, Theo, Helena, and Juliana Bixler.

Marcia is also survived by her sisters Betty Bryan, Vicki Lewis, and brother Tom (Cheryl) Fields. Her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Bryan, Stephanie Bryan, Joshua (Rachel) Lawson, Rikki (Travis) Giddens, Heather Fields, Tiffany Ossman, Craig Ossman and the late Christopher Fields. The opportunity to get her family all together was one of Marcia’s favorite things.

Marcia worked for the Kroger Corporation for over 30 years.  She was a very hard worker and dedicated employee. She was a proud Union member and loved her co-workers and customers.

Marcia truly had one of the biggest hearts in this world. She loved dancing in the kitchen, blowing dandelions in the wind for wishes, and finding four-leaf clovers from a mile away. We will forever miss her smile, a smile so big her eyes would almost disappear.

A celebration of life and family visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5th 2023  from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the VFW 9684 located at 1587 N. Lake Road, New Carlisle, Ohio.
