Lois Louise Wurts

Lois Louise Wurts, 92, of New Carlisle, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was born November 14, 1931, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Roxie and John Musselman. Lois loved to bake, sew and would always be there to cheer on her family at their different sporting events. She was a wonderful grandma, who enjoyed cooking and sharing those goodies with everyone. Lois was a member of New Carlisle Church of the Brethren and a graduate of Manchester University. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold A. Wurts; and brother Isaac John “I.J.” Musselman. Lois is survived by her daughter Trudi (Mike) Langston; son Todd (Angie) Wurts; grandchildren Emma and Audrey Wurts, Tyler Fent, and Trenton and Tyler Langston; sister-in-law Emma Musselman; nephew Mark Liller; and nieces Sue and Beth Liller. Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, from 1-2pm with the funeral to honor Lois beginning at 2:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
