Lois Louise Daugherty, 88 of Springfield passed away Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Edwight, West Virginia on December 6, 1928, the daughter of King and Lillian Pettry. She retired from Cassano’s Pizza King. After her retirement she devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Caring for her parents until they passed. Family was everything to Lois. She loved to attend any event that they were involved in. She loved to play cards, was an avid Ohio State Football and Cincinnati Reds fan. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. Her survivors include two sons; Charles Otto Daugherty Jr. and Terry Lee Daugherty; Daughter Shari (Mark) Williams – all of Springfield; 17 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; brother Billy (Betty) Pettry and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; son Tommy; daughter Rita and her husband Charles. She will be terribly missed by her family, but now she can rest. Visitation will be held Monday from 11-1 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services will be held Monday, 1:00 PM. with John Long and Jim Baldwin officiating.
