Linda L. Jones

Linda L. Jones, 57, of Springfield passed away after a long battle, on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born August 21, 1958 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Alfred and Frances (Shaffer) Blancet. Linda was a bus driver for Clark-Shawnee School District and MRDD for over twenty years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Allen L. and Natalie Jones, Jr.; two brothers Donny and Randy Blancet; three sisters Drema (Joe) Jones, Missy (Eric) Shipton and Tammy (Chris) Hileman; her special companion Michael Brickman; two grandchildren Madison M. and Allen L. Jones III, all of Springfield; "scuds" of nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Allen L. Jones, Sr.; two brothers Jerry W. and Gary A. Blancet. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Linda’s life will be Saturday at 11:00 AM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Orbie Estep officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
