Laura Katherine Patterson

Patterson, Laura Katherine, 85 of Springfield passed away April 10, 2022, in her residence.  She was born in Marietta, Ohio on June 17, 1936, the daughter of Frank and Virginia Carpenter.  Laura was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God.  In her spare time, she enjoyed working puzzles.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William D. Patterson; daughter Garnet Avery; grandson Chris Avery; and sisters Ilene and Jean.  Survivors include her children Janet Reeder, Doug Carpenter, Barb (Steve) Waldon, Linda Leffler, Charles (Alice) Patterson, Judy Patterson, and Tommy Patterson; son-in-law Loren Avery; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Graveside services to honor Laura will be Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Rose Hill Burial Park with Pastor Barney Riffle officiating.  Family and friends may call in the chapel starting at 10:30AM.  RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with the final arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com .
