LAQUITA SPAHN

went to be with the Lord Monday, August 14, 2017. She was a patient at Vancrest Nursing Home. She was born October 12, 1937 to Edyth & Lyle Shryock of Canton Illinois. She leaves behind her husband, Bob Spahn of almost 33 years. She leaves behind two stepsons, Robert Spahn, Jr. of Cuba Illinois and Tony Spahn of Dunfermline, Illinois. She was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Wendy Spahn and stepson, Christopher Spahn. She also leaves behind friends and family. Special friends Joyce Bent and Angel Fannin of New Carlisle. She has been a resident of New Carlisle for 29 years and will be greatly missed. She went to school in Canton, Illinois and graduated class of 1955. She worked as a pharmacist assistant and worked at Kmart & Walmart. I want to thank all the nurses and aides at Vancrest Nursing Home in New Carlisle for all the love and care they showed her. Thanks to Miami Valley Hospice for their care in the end. She was a very caring and loving person. Visitation will be 1-3 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 3 PM in the funeral home.
