Kenneth Wade Siegel

Siegel, Kenneth Wade, 66 of New Carlisle passed away July 3, 2017 in his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on March 19, 1951, the son of Nathan and Virginia Siegel. Ken was a proud member of First Lutheran Church, where he served as the former Council President. He retired from the State of Ohio Dept. of Taxation with 30 years of service. Following retirement he worked as a tax consultant with Towe & Associates. In his spare time he enjoyed bird watching, reading history, cars & airplanes, the Cincinnati Reds and travel. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gerald Siegel. Survivors include his wife Kathryn Siegel; daughters Andrea (Tony) Siegel-Hall and Amy (Gabe) Siegel-Kuss; step children Katrina (Jeff) Drennan and Alexander (Taylor) Sharp; sister Betsy (Craig) Siefert; granddaughter Antoinette Siegel-Hall; nephews Eric & Ben Siefert. Memorial services to honor Ken will be Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 11:00AM in the First Lutheran Church. A gathering of family and friends will be from 9:30AM until time of services.
