Kenneth Ray Preston

Preston, Kenneth R., 84 of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2022, in the Soin Medical Center.  He was born in Paintsville, Ky on July 3, 1938, the son of Arthur and Monie Preston.  Ken graduated from the Oil Springs High School.  He retired from R&M/Moyno with 45 years of service.  He was a proud charter member of the Liberty Baptist Temple.  Ken was also a member of UAW.  In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, bowling, and most recently playing pool.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Arthur Douglas Preston; sister Willa Fay Grayson; and son-in-law Dwayne Sebastian; Survivors include his wife Grethel, whom he married October 29, 1959; children Cheryl Sebastian and Marvin (Cheryl) Preston; sister Dorothy Castle; 6 grandchildren Brian (Heather) Sebastian, Tracy Sebastian, Megan McCormick, Robert Preston, Joshua Preston, and Erin (Kyle) Anderson; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his fur buddy Susie.  Services to honor Ken will be Thursday October 20, 2022, at 11:00AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Kermit Rowe officiating.  A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00AM.  Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Temple 5470 Springfield Jamestown Road Springfield, Ohio 45502.  Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com .
