Kathleen J Strayer

Kathleen Jo Strayer (Brandon) age 63 of Springfield, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at her residence while surrounded by her loving family after a courageous two year battle with cancer. She was born the daughter of Robert V. & Martha J. (Ross) Brandon on January 24, 1958 in Fort Orb, California. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Strayer Jr.; niece Andrea Ogg. Kathy is survived by her beloved children Stephanie Strayer, of Springfield, Brandon (Amber) of Springfield, & Stacey (Kendra) Strayer – Tuttle; sisters Terri Dunbar, Debbie Brandon, & Becky (Tim) Piper; grandchildren Bradley, Allyson, C.J., Robin, Jacob, Eddie, Alayna, Kenzley, Beckett, Katie, & Julian; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends. Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Kathy was known to her family as a strong woman, although she had been sick with cancer for the last two years she did not let the illness kill her spirit. Kathy was a longtime member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Springfield. In her spare time she enjoyed nothing more than watching her kids & grandkids play ball & spending quality time with them. Friends may call on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 5PM to7PM at the RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 10AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 819Kenton St. Springfield, Ohio with Rev. Elijah Puthoff, Celebrant.
