CRIPE (Gross), Katherine "Louise" 89 of Springfield, Ohio passed forward peacefully to heaven to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 7, 2016. She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren and four great grandsons and two brothers and their families, numerous nieces and nephews: daughter, Nancy (Dr. Douglas) Davis of Springfield, Ohio, their children: Adam (Elizabeth) Davis of Ipswich Massachusetts, Dr. Joy (Brian) Gockel of Wilmington, Ohio; son, Robert Paul "Bob" Cripe of Springfield, Ohio, his son Ben (Dr. Elizabeth, MD) Cripe, their sons: Liam and Everett Cripe of Thomasville, Georgia; daughter, Barbara (Neal) Blackburn of Springfield, Ohio, their daughter Sarah of Nashville, Tennessee; and daughter, Mary (Roger) Blackburn of New Carlisle, Ohio; their daughters, Amy (Rob) Novellino, their sons Ryan and Alexander of Tipp City, Ohio, and Lisa (Dr. Jason) Myers of Greensboro, North Carolina; brother, Donald (Carol) Gross of Springfield, Ohio and brother, Harold (Phyllis) Gross of Urbana, Ohio. Louise was born August 13, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents, Walter Clark and Catherine Elnora (Kemp) Gross, brother and sister-in-law Walter and Dorothy Gross, Jr., and nephew James Gross. Louise was very active in the community and church, recently honored as a 57 year 4H volunteer advisor. Memorial donations may be made toHospice of Dayton,324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420. A Celebration of Her Life will take place in the Grace Lutheran Church at 2:00PM Friday, February 12, 2016 with Rev. Daniel Powell, officiating.
