Karen Sue Smith

Karen Sue Smith, 58, of New Carlisle passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was born October 16, 1964. Preceded in death by her parents, Jim Smith and Ginny Smith Brown, and her sister Beth Smith. Survived by her sister and caregiver Debbie (Greg) Krouskop, sister Cindy (Jerry) Gracy, and brother Doug Smith, as well as many special nieces and nephews. Karen graduated from The Ohio School for the Deaf and worked many years at TAC. Karen loved to laugh, and her laughter was contagious. She had a love for all animals (living and stuffed), especially her many beloved doggies. Karen would spend many hours making and sending cards and pictures. She also loved doing jigsaw puzzles, word search puzzles, and working with a multitude of craft mediums. To celebrate Karen’s life, a visitation service will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm with services at 2:30pm, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar, and Fraley funeral home in New Carlisle.
