Kaitlin Gracie Marie Minton

Kaitlin Grace Marie “Katy Bug” Minton, 20, hailing from New Carlisle, gained her wings on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born June 12, 2003, in Dayton, the daughter of Robert Minton III and Mary Lewis. Kaitlin attended Stebbins High School, where she was active in the ROTC program. She loved dirt bikes and anything to do with being outside, whether that was fishing or crawdad hunting. Kaitlin had a light in her soul that she would share with all that knew her. She is survived by her father and step-mother Robert Minton III and Letitia Newton; mother Mary Lewis; sisters Kirstin and Erika; brothers Chase, Noah, Presley, Sammy and Dillon; grandmothers Marie Lewis and Carol Prater; grandfather, Winford Lewis; great-grandpa John Belair, Sr.; great grandma Geraldine Skiles; aunts Danielle (Andrew) Snider, Samantha Lewis and Michelle Lewis; uncle Franklin Minton; numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Kaitlin is preceded in death by her grandparents Robert Minton, Jr., David Ort and Bernadette Minton & great grandfather Marvin Skiles. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 4-7pm with the Celebration of Kaitlin’s life beginning at 7:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, 507 W.
