Juanita Jane "JJ" Combs Crouch, 76, of Springfield passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 after years of struggling with lung disease. She was born February 4, 1940 in Springfield the daughter of John Bartram and Frances (Clark) Bartram Russell. Juanita graduated high school from Milford Center, OH. However, she lived most of her adult life in Indianapolis, returning to Springfield in the late 1990’s. She retired from Olan Mills after 25 years as a traveling supervisor over four states, and from F.F. Mueller Center and Self Reliance. Juanita loved working outside, knitting, reading, crafting and especially family get-togethers. She is survived by her daughters Rhonda L. Combs of Columbus, OH, and RoxAnne Combs of Springfield; son Randall Hue (Kim) Crouch of Plainfield, IN; grandchildren Emily and Vanden Crouch; sister Judy (Dick) Kuhn of Delaware, OH; brothers Jim (Billie) Bartram of OH and MI, and Jerry (Regina) Bartram of AZ and OH; nephews Joel Bartram, Fred and Chris Kuhn and Jay Bartram; special cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, favorite aunts and an uncle. Juanita has graciously donated her body to The Ohio State University Medical Center in hopes that it will help others suffering from pulmonary disease. Per her request, there will be no services at this time. A special memorial will be held by her family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Juanita’s name to the Humane Society.
