Joyce "Bonnie" Day

Joyce "Bonnie" Day, 81, of Springfield went to be home with the Lord on July 2, 2016 . She was born in Catawba, Ohio, June 30, 1935. Bonnie enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. She was preceded in death by her mother Neltie "Babe" Shaw , grandmother Myrtle Mae Carey, husband of 55 years Franklin Day , sister Julia Moore , and son David Day . Survivors include her daughter Vickie Mcelfresh ; grandchildren Ryan (Alecia)Mcelfresh ; Bret Mcelfresh; TaShanon Franks and Hunter Day . Great-grandchildren her "Little buddy " Cameron Franks and "Little girl" Hannah Franks , Ryan, Dominic, Ellen, Charlotte ,and Samuel ; favorite cousins Kenny & Lila Carson ; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A service to honor Bonnie will be Wednesday at 1:00PM in the Memorial Home with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating.
