Joy R. Gibson

Joy Rene Gibson, 39, lost her battle to cancer on September 5, 2016. She leaves behind her parents, Jack and Peggy Gibson, four children Taylor Gibson, Michaela Hazel, Amonte Allen, and Amari Allen. Her two sisters Amanda Miller and Nikki Gibson. Her grandmother Beatrice Gibson and long time friends Tavia Johnson and Jasmine Jackson. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Chester Gibson and Niece Ceaira Wright. Joy was very accomplished in life, earning an Associates Degree in social work as well as a License in Practical Nursing. She was a friend to everyone and loved by many. The viewing will be held at the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, Saturday at 10:00 AM. with the ceremony immediately following at 11:00 AM.
