Joseph C. Myers

July 1, 1945 — October 2, 2021

Joseph, Joe, Dad, Daddio-Joe, Uncle Joe, José, Hammer Man, Big Guy – there was no shortage of colorful names people used to show their love for Joseph C. Myers. He arrived to us on July 1, 1945, via Rev. James B and Corda (Beal) Myers and was ferried into the stars by his wife Grace and sons Michael and Frank Myers in the early hours of October 2nd, 2021.

In his early 20’s, he was called by the Army to serve his country in her time of need during the Vietnam Conflict supporting the safety of the Panama Canal in the infantry and as a drummer in the band. Fort Hood, TX was his duty station during his reenlistment and service as a cook and again as a drummer in the band. After completing his service, he returned to playing music and working in the family restaurant where he met the love of his life Grace (Schaffer) and created their Myers Family.

He used the light he brought with him to illuminate the world with his smile, laughter, love, and compassion. His words and actions are lessons we can choose to carry with us as we enjoy the journey of life, honoring him through each subtle intention of love. Remember who you are; our energy is One.
