Jonathan L. Acles

Jonathan L. Acles, 54, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born April 10, 1969, in Springfield, the son of the late Irvin and Carol Acles. Jon loved music and played bass in Voodoo Son with his bandmates Eric and Marty. He loved going to the Ohio River, boating and camping at the Lively Lady Campground with friends and family. Jon is survived by his son Zakkery (Samantha Boyd) Acles; brothers Phil and James Acles; cousin Steven Foreman and Sherry (Mark) Bolton; friend and caretaker Lora Keen; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice, especially nurses Janette and Tracee. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 1-3pm at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
