John Lee Predovich

News Death Notice



PREDOVICH, John Lee 71 of Springfield, Ohio entered his heavenly reward on February 8, 2016. John was born on July 31, 1944 in Bedford Heights, Ohio, the son of John Predovich and Sylvia Beaver Predovich Bauer. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1965 and graduated from Columbus Barber College in 1965. He started The Cut Above Barber Shop in 1975 from which he retired in 2015; following retirement he had been working at the Razor's Edge. John was an avid golfer and served as Captain of hole #11 at the Muirfield Memorial Golf Tournament for 30 years. Always a patron of the arts, John performed in The Nutcracker Ballet for 6 years. He was a guitarist and composed 35 songs. Music was an inspirational part of his life. Family, friends, and faith guided John throughout his life and he was loyal to those he loved. John thoroughly enjoyed traveling and had a great zest for life. Left to cherish his memory are: his son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Lee Predovich and Gina Marie Suever Predovich; his love and lifetime partner, Jane Weisenbach Gicale; his brother, Donald Predovich; his sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Frank Neff; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; many golf buddies and friends. John was preceded in death by his father, John Predovich; his mother, Sylvia Beaver Predovich Bauer; his step-father, Jack Bauer. A memorial golf outing and reception will occur later in the year. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's name to the American Cancer Society, 40 S. Perry Street, Suite 120, Dayton, Ohio 45402.
