John E. Marino

Marino, John E., 74 of Catawba passed away June 24, 2022, in the OSU Wexner Medical Center.  He was born in Springfield, Ohio on December 3, 1947, the son of Frank E. and Bette J. Marino.  John retired from Navistar as a press operator with 32 years of service.  He was a 1966 graduate of Urbana High School.  John spent almost every weekend at Lake Cumberland; he enjoyed boating; racing especially NASCAR; traveling; but what brought him, his greatest joy was family.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include his loving wife Cindy Reedy Marino, whom he married July 17, 1992; stepson John Reedy; siblings Sandra Marino, James Marino, and Frank (Sienna) Marino; his in-laws Mary Kay McDowell, Patricia Mumma, and Jerry Wilson; and many nieces and nephews. John will be greatly missed by his fur buddies, Charley, Gracie, and Buzzy.  A celebration of life will be Saturday, July 2, 2022, in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL at 11:00AM.  A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00AM.  Memorial contributions are requested to the Animal Welfare League or the American Lung Association.  Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com .
