John W.A. Leeder

John W.A. Leeder 91, of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was born in London, England on September 26, 1930, to the late Gerald & Helen Leeder. John came to the United States when he was 25 years old. He worked for many years as a welder in Ohio and Texas, some of the projects he was most proud of were for NASA, some of which may still be floating through space. He was a semi-pro soccer player while in England, continuing to play after moving to the United States until he was 41 years old. John was a great storyteller and loved to share memories from his life in England, growing up during WWII in London, and about his soccer career, along with all his other life adventures.

John is survived by his wife of 54 years Barbara Leeder, his children, Cliff (Florence) Leeder, Mike (Nancy) Leeder, Shelly (Paul) Vicory, Edy (Sam) King, John (Millisa) Leeder; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Pugh, sisters, Joyce Grimm & Kathleen McLean.
