John H. Baker 65, of Huber Heights passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2024. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on August 2, 1958, to the late Howard & Mary Jane Baker. John was the Road Captain of the Buckeye Harley-Davidson Chapter; he loved to ride and for the past two years had the most mileage in his chapter logging over 10,000 miles in one year. He loved to travel and dance with his girlfriend Alisa. He was a loving father and grandfather and loved to spend time with his granddaughter Meadow going to UDF and shopping. John would spend much of his free time reading, especially about world history. He enjoyed music and going to concerts, recently seeing The Rolling Stones. He loved helping people find their homes as a realtor with Summers Realty. John lived his life fully, always reminding people to live like it was their last day. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the joy of knowing him. He is survived by his children, Nicole, Heather, Kyle & Aliyah; grandchildren, Miles, Meadow & Finn; siblings, Beverly, Paul, Lloyd, and a host of other relatives and friends. He passed away alongside his love (fan), Alisa Lenghtaisong. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Martha Baker and sisters Nancy & Mary Anne. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, with the service to follow at 3:30 pm all at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
