John C. Doyle 73, of New Carlisle passed away February 2, 2024. He was born in Springfield on March 29, 1950, to the late William & Norma Doyle. John was a proud veteran of The United States Marine Corps. He worked at Navistar for 33 years before retiring. John loved collecting and spending time going to flea markets. He collected records and Jukeboxes and loved listening to all kinds of music. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Gretchen (Morgan) Doyle; sons, Johnie Doyle (girlfriend Billie), and Jeffery Doyle; daughter, Jessica Buchanan; grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, Bailey, Joey Ritchie, their mother; Regina Doyle, Alyssa, Aaron, Zachary Doyle, Haylie Landry & Jason Newton; great-grandchildren, Layla DeBee, Brody Neer, and Lareigha & Amaya Newton. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jenny Doyle-Landry, grandson, Gary Landry, siblings, Gene Doyle, Ricky Doyle, Joe Doyle & Judy Kennedy. Visitation will be held from 11 am- 12 noon on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home with the graveside service to follow at 12:30 pm at Medway Cemetery.
