Age 64, of New Carlisle, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on February 21, 2025.

Born in Wheeling, WV, daughter of Shirley and Charles, grand daughter of Gene and Radford Sign, and Audrey and Charles Smail.

Jody was the beloved wife of Bob Alexander for 46 years, cherished mother of Robby (wife Stephanie), Alisha (husband Lewis) and the late little Bobby. A loving sister to her siblings Charlene, Gary, Shawn, and late brother Rodney. She was also the proud grandmother of Adaline, Alexia, Emma, and Chloe, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her great-grandchild.

A talented artist, Jody had a natural gift for creating beautiful works that reflected her vibrant spirit. Her creativity was an important part of her life, and she shared that passion with those around her.

As a registered nurse, Jody dedicated her life to caring for others and was known for her compassion and fierce advocacy for those in need, and as a fiery force of nature to those who would wrong them. She loved spending time at the casinos, indulging in her love of shopping, and especially adored moments spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

A woman who always stood up for others, Jody made a lasting impact on the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on March 3, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, OH.
