Joanna L. Miller

Joanna L. Miller, 76, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Good Shepherd Village. She was born November 1, 1939 in Springfield, the daughter of Herbert and Bertha (Miller) Givens. Jo enjoyed bingo and her many dogs she cared for over the years. She is survived by her daughter Renee DeWitt; a sister Martha (Marty) Morgan-Buskirk; a brother Darrel (Alicia) Kerns; sister-in-law Bobbi Morgan; numerous nieces and nephews. Jo is preceded in death by her parents; husband Elijah Miller; step-father Pearl Morgan; sister Barbara Farris; brothers John Givens, Edward Morgan and Mike Morgan. A funeral service to honor Jo will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the start of services.
